I recommend sticking to the Contact Beam if you've got it, deals with both threats quickly and efficiently. As you take the battery out, a soldier will ambush you, along with an Infector. You may remember seeing a battery in the Briefing Room, so head back in. Attempt to ride the elevator near the door, which will cause the battery in the wall to malfunction and burst out onto the floor. Go back through the Briefing Room and into the hall from before. Walk through this Airlock door and you will find another path blocked by debris, but this time you can reach the wall safe by the door which contains a Node. Next make your way over to the Airlock door to the right where you will find an Audio Log on the ground. Look on the table in the center of the room to find a Text Log, Orders. Make your way to the end of the hall and into the Briefing Room. The way through is blocked, but there is some Ammo you can loot on the ground. Once the soldier is dead make your way down the hall and open up the Airlock door. Weapons with wide areas of effect like the Contact Beam work great here. However, if you shoot them directly on their Stasis Module (glowing blue spot on their body) it will backfire causing them to become Stasis'd for a short time. They are fast, and your shots will occasionally pass right through them. The Stasis units on their armor have gone haywire, causing them to teleport around erratically while moving. Here we will encounter a new enemy type, the Necromorph soldier. There is a locked door to the left, so go down the hall on the right. Once you are done looting, head through the door to Briefing Room - Lower Decks. Keep your eye on the bunks as well, multiple of the ones in this corner have loot inside. Around the corner is some burning debris, and a whole row of lockers, some of which have loot inside.
